Fast C permit application (for a B permit resident from an excluded EU country)

Grüezi,

Context:

I live in Zug.

My 5 year B permit expires soon.

I can extend it for another 5 years or try to switch to C permit.

I am a citizen of an EU country that is not granted C permit after 5 years automatically.

I can apply for a 'fast C permit' process.

Question:

The application for a fast C permit requires "Schriftlich begründetes Gesuch"='Written reason request'.

Do you know if that is supposed to be

an essay about how great a Swiss resident I have been and how will Switzerland benefit for having me longer

or

just a request stating that I would like to be in a C permit because it works better for me and I fulfil all the requirements

?

Could you share anonymised succesful Schriftlich begründetes Gesuch for reference?

Being able to show solid integration would be important....

- This is where my life is, I have a place at the stammtisch and play jass with my good friends Gian and Dorian

- I speak the local dialect, run with the orienteering and play soccer in the local team...

You will have to write it yourself. What they are looking for is signs that you are integrated into Swiss society, you are a member of local clubs, you participate in your communes social activities, you know your neighbours, you shop locally and you speak the local dialect.

A C is a big step towards naturalisation, they won’t grant it easily.
