Would she be able to apply for C permit if she only worked for a year? Is the length and type of work contract a criteria in getting the C permit?
Asking for a Canadian on a B permit that spent here 5 years.
Maybe? Was she here on a dependent permit? Married to a Swiss or EU national?
It's not the length of work contract that counts. It's whether or not you're integrated and able to support yourself without being on social help.
I applied for and received a C permit without having worked a day in Switzerland (trailing spouse of a Swiss national).

I have filled for Permit C anticipe and attached working contract. It seems that my job is not secure and I will lose it soon, while my C permit request is still in the approval process. Do you know if this will impact the process and that my request might be refused? I am waiting already 6 months
I am married, partner has non-EU nationality same as me, having stabile job. We have a kid born here and we attached our language certificates a a sign of integration.
