Finacial means - Family reunification

Hello, I started a thread not long ago asking about how stirct they are in regards with having the finantial means when appliying for family reunifiacion.

My wife is currentlydoing her PhD and I came with her to switzerland. We starting the process to apply for family reunification for me. And today we got a letter stating that we do not have sufficient finantial means. We do have substancial savings in our bank accounts, an din cash (which we already told them we had). As far as we undesrtand what they want is for us to assure them that we will nto be seeking any social welfare.

Do any of you know how can I prove this to them? should I tell them that I can (if needed) obtain more money (via parents support, or extra chash flow).

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Show them your bank account statement with your savings?

We already did, but they told us that they could only be marginally accepted, so we don't really know if we need to have more money in the accounts or what else could we show them to prove them that we will not seek social assistance

yes, of course, I will ask them but I was wondering if anyone has even been in a similar situation. And to see what types of documents should i be preparing
