Did you even come to Switzerland? How was the process of recognition of diplomas?

And the job search not having a high German level?

I've moved to Lausanne to work and my girlfriend, who is a vet, is planning to join me in the middle term. Currently, she working in Portugal and having lessons to improve her French.

(I know I'm digging this out and maybe I will not have an answer.)

Just going through this. Getting British veterinary degree recognised easy (CHF 800 ). Should be ok if from any other EU state. Then need to pass B2 French. I just did this and am now submitting final application to the Canton (Vaud).

A lot of vets here speak Swiss German because that's the language that is used in the Swiss vet schools. But not having German is ok in French speaking areas like Lausanne.
