In the eyes of some people a paedophile, someone who gets caught for 1km to 4km over or someone with a radar detector in the glove box are all criminals of a similar degree. I believe the term is social conditioning. Break any law and you're a BAD person. Generally it's actually very good for society to function in an organised and lawful way but the downside is that it makes a few people rather righteous.
Comparing a little speeding to paedophilia is ridiculous. The way you are talking, perhaps you should set up your very own anti-speeding church, they have great tax benefits too. I guess Germans are a superior race since only they are able to drive 200 km/h on an Autobahn and the rest of Europe is full of idiots who cant be trusted to go 1 kph over 100 or 120, whichever speed the local apparatchiks decided on.
