Just looked through our rental contract only to find there is no information on how much notice to give when leaving.
Contacted the agency only to be told it is fixed until next summer and termination is not possible!
The end date/ fixed until information is not written anywhere in the contract, I am in shock .
They are double checking and will get back to me.
Has anyone else come accross this?

It is important to read contracts before signing.
So read your contracts carefully.
Contacted the rental agency asking to see what paperwork they hold stating it is fixed, as its not written in the contract i have and was told they had made a mistake.

Not really, you can still cancel anytime - but you're going to have to find another sucker to take your place then
