Fondue and Raclette in London

Dear "English" forumers,

Asking for a friend, do you know of any shop, online or in London area, where one can buy Swiss Raclette and Fondue cheese? Apple Schorle is a nice extra too.

Many thanks

Best

Waitrose at CW sells Swiss Raclette cheese.

Several options if you simply google London, raclette, cheese; a friend in London often buys cheese from La Fromagerie (3 locations) and it's also possible to rent a small raclette machine from them.

Waitrose sells Emmi fondue (traditional and some other options), although I think they are having some issues restocking at the moment.

In Soho on Wardour Street there is a Swiss restaurant / club called St. Moritz. I have never dined there, but they have fondue and raclette.

Oh, I'd forgotten about that place (shame on me, having known the owner and his family for decades).

Very traditional, about the only place in the UK you'll find swiss wines, and certainly well worth visiting at least once!

There's a Swiss cheese shop in Borough Market, I'm sure they have a very good Raclette cheese (and probably also sell their own Fondue mix)

Morning. We sell Swiss Raclette (including Valais raclette and alp raclette) in London. Our warehouse is open to the public only on Thursdays and Saturdays. www.kaseswiss.co.uk

Alternatively you can get a London made raclette at Borough market (kappa casein) - which is excellent. La Fromagerie and wholefoods stores also sell raclette.

Welcome to EF. Good info to know
