Hey, I am new here. Let's see... This thread is supposed to be about dating sites in Switzerland... Mmmm... Any serious site suggestions? I have found a few but there are no half way "appealing" men there and on top of it the sites have a very limited functionality (eg to write or receive a message you have to pay!) yeah, I keep on forgetting we are in Switzerland - whatever choice is there, you pay for it as if it was high end...

Maybe you guys have more luck with finding attractive women in this country... To find a handsome guy (over 180cm to be specific hahaha in the land of mountain people trying to find a Goliath ) is as close as winning a lottery... Do not want to offend anybody under 180cm and yes, of course, I am not only looking for physical attributes, although this is what we all get attracted to first... If we were attracted to the inner values first, I think we would all start exchanging x-Ray pictures....

So sites? Or maybe some good tips on clubs, bars, places to go to to meet good guys (By good guys I mean no weirdos)?

Maybe Xmas parties would be a better choice, but I can't really talk, no experiences with searching, tbh. Places with chill atmosphere, not scripted scenarios, where you can casually chat and get merry (and see what you getting) might be interesting..Or gigs, events with purpose - check out flyers, get a friend to go with you. Will probably make you stop thinking about the 6ft thing

Anyways - Happy Hunt I mean..Holidays and no stress, you might run into somebody when you aren't really looking. Serendipity.

I would look more at the sports side of things as one avenue.

Certain sports such as basketball (no kidding!), volleyball, tchoukball (a CH indoor team sport), tennis, swimmingetc. favour players who are tall.

You might start by going to games (from the professional, semi-pro and amateur levels - whatever you can easily find). My guess is you will find lots of "choice" on the player level but also on the spectator side of things. Plus, normally people who are playing a sport are "possibly" more normal that someone sitting behind a computer (me excluded of course ).

There are weirdos everywhere, for all we know you may be a weird woman, so just sign up to the main expat sites (Glocals, Internations, Meetup) and go to the events and meet people.
