I met my boyfriend on OKcupid in Switzerland. We're happy and well suited for each other. I first met a lot of nice guys (dozens) who it didn't work with on the same site.
Two of my best friends (englishspeakers) in ch also met their partners online. They have healthy and happy relationships.
The possibilities to find a good match are really low... The problem nowadays is too many princesses thinking in pink and bodybuilders just eating rice and chicken. Adding the nerds...
Though it's of course much easier to lie online, in reality you just don't know, be on- or offline, and not even when you're in a lasting relationship. At the end of the day it's just a matter of trust.
I've been doing some research on POF for some reason
I have a strong belief from my observations that there appears to be - in Switzerland at least - possibly 60-80% of shill accounts which I assume are there to either get you to subscribe to the site or to rip you off. Many dubious locations and a strangely high proportion of teachers suggests that it's a complete waste of time.
I will therefore be paying my subscription to Grumpy at his bar
Ha, I have to say that my initial summary might have been wrong. POF seems to have produced a date with a leggy brunette and a competitor site appears to be yielding much more
I'll see you shortly Grumpy and give you the lowdown and maybe some pictures. Why are model-like women single?
and as we speak, some new faceless member has supplied me with an email address and if I write, I'll get pictures.
so get a throwaway gmail address people and enjoy the fun! You never know, they might not be naked and trying to get me to pay for some Russian wife or something....
