Hi everyone. I am having real difficulty finding bags of frozen carrots in the usual major supermarkets in Zurich. Please note that I am only looking for frozen carrots, I am not talking about mixed bags with any other vegetables.
I’ve heard that carrots contain vitamin A which is supposed to be good for eyesight. Why don’t you try some raw ones – perhaps help locate those frozen bags you’re looking for a day or two later?
I don’t know about Zurich but Manor has them here in the Thiriet frozen food range.
Don't know if you're near an Aldi but they have them in our local one.

Failing that, carrots are very easy to blanch and freeze yourself. We used to have a huge vegetable garden in Scotland and used to freeze what we couldn't give away, or things that didn't store well (my favourite was rhubarb, used to freeze it for pies and puddings in winter). We used to give a lot of veg and rhubarb to elderly neighbours.
Buy fresh. Why frozen?

Takes seconds to peel and a few minutes to boil.
Maybe because frozen are more fresh than "fresh", or he uses them in combination with other frozen vegetables. I don't really like them boiled and eat them raw.

Also if there’s one near you, try Aligro. They do big packs of them iirc.
Try roasted. Yummy.
