But you are the owner, right? I looked at the Swiss law regarding GmbH and it states that owners execute management duties and they can choose a managing director from them or hire someone else.

If there is no conflict between your employers business and your GmbH's business, this is no issue.

Whether you have an employment contract or you just pay yourself a salary doesn't matter at all, it's just the point above, because you can work more then 100%, especially if it's your own company.

Points to consider:

- conflict with products and services of your employer (forbidden by law!)

- written in your contract that you have to ask your employer in advance

- be aware that EVERYONE can see that you have your own company (online database), if your employer is not ok with your company, you might want to rethink your idea
