Has anyone any experience of obtaining electronic components from this Swiss firm Grieder Bauteile: https://www.griederbauteile.ch/impre…n.html#opening ? I was searching for some components for a retro electronics project and came across their catalogue which appears to have many otherwise rare components.
However, before I place a test order, I’d be interested to hear if anyone here has dealt with this company.
Having a brick and mortar storefront with valid address seems to be a good sign.

No idea of whether they are reliable but it's a great find!
OK. Thanks for the replies. I'll give it a try with a small order and add my own experience to the thread.
CHF10 surcharge for order under CHF20. CHF14 delivery.
That CHF5 component is going to cost you CHF 29 !
That is unfortunately true but if you order a CHF 5.- component from Mouser, Farnell or Digikey etc. it will cost CHF 25.- because of the small order surcharge. Anyway, the point is that the components I want are available neither from the big distributors nor from Aliexpress otherwise I'd have chosen a cheaper option. I've bulked the order out to avoid the CHF 10 surcharge and wait to see what comes. There is also, incidentally, a Twint surcharge of CHF 2.- . I'll be happy if it all arrives as ordered.
Well, I already have the answer this morning! I haven't tested the components but everything looks OK so I am pleased with that. For small orders, the delivery charges are relatively high, especially if you are used to Aliexpress/Ebay free delivery from China, but this was next day delivery.
Incidentally, I also got a coupon for a 10% discount off my next order >= CHF 20.-
A late response, we order from them at work and I've never had any problems.
