Help! I need advice on how to stop static electricity in my hair!

I also suffered from static hair and the best solution I have found so far has been a wooden hair brush. The first time I used it I was amazed at the amount of dust that came of my hair (even though I had just washed it and shampooed 3 times... yeah the static was really bad!).

Also, try using the hair masks instead of conditioner, they are stronger, heafvier and deep conditions your hair, you'll be surprise at how much more manageble your hair gets. Also, brush your hair while you are washing it. Anyway, I do swear by the wooden brush!

Thanks for all of the suggestions. After using the Elsève Full Repair shampoo and a Klorane papyrus mask for "undisciplined" hair, my hair was finally under control until I went to my yoga class this morning. Oddly enough, it seems to be the exercises that I'm doing on the rubber yoga mat that is electrifying my hair. But at least it wasn't as bad today.

if you've got it only with your hair, you're lucky. Everything I touch can give me shocks, even if it's plastic made. ....

Curiously, my cat became more careful when she wants a cuddle

Hi - I've also had the same problem plus the fact that my hair looks so dried out here - like straw!! Sleeping with a treatment in overnight has worked and another suggestion from some local friends is to add vinegar to the water you use to rinse your hair to soften it up, as the water here is so 'hard'. I haven't tried this one yet but let us know the results if you do!

Cheers
