I like to think they are still on holiday, although I think most people are already back in the office.

At the beginning of July I was contacted by this company in ticino for an interview, after passing it I had a second interview at the end of July, where I was told that the results of the interviews would arrive around mid-August, having said that I also wrote an email last week to the HR who was dealing with me asking for news but they still haven't replied to the email.
I would assume that they're not interested. Otherwise they would have reacted to your email last week.
