Homebrew channel on wii

Glad to see this thread heating up with knowledgeable people.

I have a Wii and I stupidly upgraded the firmware a few months ago... but can't seem to see where it lists my current version... Now I am trying to find a way to read a US disc (NTSC) from Netflix to allow streaming of their movies (by subscription) and think that the Homebrew Channel might be my answer, but not certain.

Any idea if this is what I need to do? If not, any other suggestions?

I bottled it at the weekend and i think im just going to wait until people have cought up with the 4.3e and have a dabble then.

otherwise i've got to go out and buy the indiaina Jones game which does look good just so i can backup my games.

i did find a good like though on wiihacks
