I would like to drive a car with automatic gear. I was told that I have to pass first the theory exam and do eye test and first aid. Usually I expect doing theory class with the school and passing the exam with the help of school. So this sounds a bit strange to me.
How can I study this theory exam and pass it? how can I even apply to take an exam?
I personally just downloaded the app, practiced there until I could do 2 or 3 tests without mistakes and then took the test. I was done in 10 min and passed easily. The theory exam is probably the easiest part of the whole process.
I guess you have misunderstanding. Usually one can go to school for theory lessons and the school prepares ones to the exam, then take the exam. As far as I understood, there is no school for theory lesson or need to go school. It is a bit strange.
Driving schools do organise theory courses here for people who want them but most people just learn from the online resources and then go and take the exam.
It’s not difficult, it’s basically a case if practice, practice, practice until you know all the answers.
You even have a choice of languages for the theory test so you can choose the one you are most fluent in.
Deafferent path lead to the “same” result: Rote learn the answers w/o understanding the questions Learn the traffic rule A combination of both Back in the day I bought the book with all the questions and a book with the traffic law. Then I started to solve the question by looking up the relevant rule. Then I went to a traffic schools which had mock exams. This was known as “Bögle”. Some kids did only that. I did one exam, 0 mistakes. Teacher asked what the heck I am doing here. Did the real exam, 2 mistake. Passed.
Here a demo of the real exam: https://www.cut-demo.ch/ Mistakes are counted as follows: Every wrongly marked answer is one mistake, every correct answer not marked is also one mistake.
What you should know is listed here Kompetenzenkatalog Kat. A/A1/B / Catalogue de compétences cat. A/A1/B The book with the official question is no longer published and driving schools usually longer offer “Bögle” (some driving schools still offer theory lessons). This two have been replaced by apps and software with the official questions such as: Easydriver Fahrlerer 24BLINKTheorie 24iTheorye.Driververkehrstheorie.ch They costs between CHF 20 and CHF 40 (or more if with book). Read the reviews in the App store of your mobile phone. Car is category B. Motorcycles are category A and A1. (You have to pass the B/A/A1 theory exam only once in your lifetime).
When I learned to drive I did go to driving school and had theory lessons.
Our daughter now wants to apply for a learner's license and simply downloaded the itheorie app to practice the questions. That's how many things including the naturalization test are studied for nowadays.
