how do you refer 'Curvy' women

Generally speaking, I find the term 'curvy' used as a bit of a physiological aid for many who have body image issues. Human societal nature usually deems the two extreme's: fat and skinny, where both are should be totally acceptable yet cause offense due to generalizations. Fundamentally, all humans are 'curvy' such that nature doesn't produce right-angles very often (nerd groan ) but for the OP to claim

is a bit short sighted and subjective. The 'right shape' is whatever one feels comfortable and acceptable with respect to one's self and the society values they live in.

Since the thanks isn't working, just want to say thanks. Valid points, and not wrath-worthy, at least imho.

I have been guilty of asking friends how they eat 5,000 calories a day and yet stay so thin. The question isn't intended to be a criticism, but apparently it comes off that way. I will be more careful in the future.

Its "off topic" so there are never any "thanks" or "groans"

Changing the topic though, I believe Reputation Points can still be given. You know, just sayin'

I just say "good morning dear"

hmm think Jessica Rabbit?

If you bring measurements into the equation, it becomes easier to define curviness. A body shape of 92-61-92 (36-24-36) would be healthy and curvy. If the waist gets much larger then it has to be getting fatter.

It has been shown that men are attracted to a narrower waist. Personally I prefer slightly overweight to underweight females.

Actually you know, you're right. I am normally the one that tuts when I hear of cases of people taking high offence at an innocent remark and I have the thought "get a life" but here I am turning into a hypocrite.

It shouldn't matter to me if someone makes a genuine comment about someone's appearance, after all curiosity is a human trait and it would be a tragedy if we ended up suppressing that just because of oversensitive people.

To be honest I'm not really offended when people make such comments about me it's just interesting that "in society" it's viewed as unacceptable to make comments about the fuller figure. Maybe it's the imbalance which niggles me.

From my point of view, please don't hold back on genuine comments.

on a recent trip to Florence mrs G and I had the pleasure of seeing the original painting of this sexy beast...

It's a nice dog, but I wouldn't call it sexy .

Dog? , dog?.. dog?! ....

oh ya, there it is.... I see it now.

Perhaps I am dating myself a bit, but back in the day...a lady did NOT want to acquire a reputation. I guess now it's ok...at least on EF.

I think society as a whole is too PC these days. I try to phrase my words in a respectful manner, but once in a while I'm going to offend someone. My grandmother was the type who could tell you to go to h3ll and you'd enjoy the trip.

The younger girl in the background obviously doesn't share the same taste in pies as her mum/sister (?) ..... or maybe she just has bulimia.

we did spend some time staring at the painting trying to figure out what she was doing ( ok, thats what I told mrs. G anyway ) and yes it does look like she is chucking her lunch.

Yes I think she is on her knees, throwing up into her handbag.

perhaps trying to get rid of the camel dung smell of the new leather ?

Curvy? I think I prefer twisted.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the modern curvy women:
