How to fix plastic medicine container?

I was wondering how could I fix the broken part shown in the photos below. I tried duct tape, but it doesn’t keep the lid on its position throughout the movement.

Drill a small hole from the other side and put a screw through?

If you can't reach with a drill, maybe melt it through with a thick hot needle.

Fill out their returns form and they will credit you for the purchase, or ask for a new one.

As recommended above, put a very fine and long screw through from the outer side and into where the anchor should be.

OR you could dry pushing a long sewing pin or fine nail in....

I'm for the needle thing.

If you heat the tip and hold it with a pair of pliers, it will go into the plastic like butter. But you need a firm hand to push it in a straight direction, right in the middle.
