Sorry, but it is- as the OP is asking questions directly related to a comparison between UK and CH. OP has had the answer she asked, and clarification given.
Actually she isn’t. All she asked was if inspections existed here like in the UK. Otherwise she is just asking a specific question related to Vaud.
Open a new thread if you wish to discuss the question posed by Bowlie please as this post is not about comparing the UK and CH.

I hope statistics like this never get out to the public. At least nowadays the school you go to doesn't matter, a grammar school is a grammar school, a secondary school is a secondary school. But that will change if a particular school gets a bad name. Merit becomes less and connections become more important. I hope we never get the class school system of the UK here.
On schools in vaud, I've heard it muttered fribourg is better somehow? Any truth to this?
Also heard worrying stuff that Swiss schools are very regimented and traditional. Which is a big weakness of the UK. Any truth there?
