You may be lucky. I was also flashed there. No excuse, I was in a hurry, car in front took an age to move off and when he did I followed as the light changed. Flash / flash. That was 6 years ago and i never received a fine.
Same at roadworks on the highway, speed limit 80 and only when the camera flashed did I realise I was doing 95! I turned the air blue as one does but it was not necessary as the fine never came.
Can be a whole load of reasons, no film, wireless connection to the police was faulty, bad weather so the number plate could not be properly read etc.
Basically, I was in the wrong lane (lane was for the right) I turned left just as there was an opening (crossed a solid white line) and the light was green, very suddenly it turned amber and then red and then I got 2 flashes, what should I expect?
