You know, liquidity is always a challenge. Money is not there parked doing nothing. It took at least 24h to have make the funds available to conclude the transaction.
the link in post 1 is down, so I guess the buyer has been found ![]()
Iāve been looking for a property at some point, itās the usual
in the Swiss second hand property market so Iām done with it, the only offers I sometimes came back to look at are new built apartments or building plots.
Any good property in Switzerland is sold under the radar or passed on the heirs. Good luck.
Same here in western ATā¦there is nothing but newly-built crap on the market; anything architecturally interesting or with history or well situated is passed through families. We were incredibly lucky to find This Old House (whose family had all moved away), and we thank our lucky stars every day!
On the topic of houses. Hereās an agent who is really earning his commission and presenting the house in the best possible light:
Yes, thatās right, plants growing in from the outside through broken windows into the kitchen.
āSanierungsbedürftigā
Saves the hassle of going onto the balcony to harvest your salad. ![]()
The kitchen has to be demolished and rebuilt anyway⦠If these are external plants, I guess this is an abandoned house anyway, not livable, sold only for the land to build something in a good location.
Smells like asbestos. Renovating that house will be as expensive as decommissioning a nuclear power plant ![]()
Warm demolition it is thenā¦
That rundown place is creepy, like something from a horror film. I donāt think Iād want to look in the cellar ![]()
