Online daddy shaming is real!!! 😄 BTW why the groan for my 100% factually correct post above?
There's a bit of a kerfuffle in the UK at the moment over Aptamil changing their recipe, so this might be the right time to look at more commonly available alternatives.
The guy never said he doesn't care about his daughter's best interests. He said as long as the nutritional value if there, he would rather go for the cheaper one.
Besides, 240 "chuffs" might not be a lot of money to you and in proportion to the costs of raising a child it might sound negligible but 240 CHF here, 200 there and if you are careful you can save a thousand a year and that adds up to 18K over the years.
No need to be self-righteous.
This is English Forum, where everyone makes huge salaries and no one cares about saving money. Try to save a chuff or two and you're Scroogy McScrooge.
With a little additional research, I found that Danone makes both Aptamil and Bledina brands. In fact, the formula containers are identical down to the scoop, except in green instead of yellow. The nutritional content varies just a touch, but not enough to make a major difference. Bledina is 13.50 Euros where Aptamil is about 25chf...
Thanks.
