I love a good woolly jumper. I own one proper Aran Geansai and wouldn't mind adding another one dyed a different colour.

Certainy close enough for you to go and have a look Matty. Nice stuff for the house too. The owner is the same as Alex Tissus near HyperU in Pontarlier. But they don't do jumpers and clothes there, only bedding, loose material and sewing stuff, curtains, towels, etc.
I was going to say that the clothing looked similar to other sites that I'd seen, but I'll make the trip soon enough!
I used to hand knit Aran things many moons ago (it's very popular in Scotland) and used to love concentrating on all the cables and travelling stitches. My last project was a big scarf I knitted, it was like a woolen stole. In Scotland I used hanks of natural wool you had to ball up by hand. It had to be washed before wearing to get rid of the lanolin. I also loved dipping in and out of Fair Isle knitting. I started again recently due to the boredom of the Covid situation.
