Given that I have 2 people in the family with low iron, thanks one and all for the information. With both of them iron absorbtion is an issue, caffine/dairy food are predominately morning food items (?) would it make more sense to take iron suppliments in the evening? Has anyone done this or had side effects from doing this?
Just wondering if anyone has heard of or been to a doctor associated with the SIHO (Swiss Iron Health Organisation) or Eisenzentrum.
I'm looking for a second opinion and don't want to waste my time or money on another useless GP.
I need to have iron transfusions done soon and am hesitant to do it at my GP's seeing how I've had bad reactions to other transfusions (and the next hospital is a 15 min drive away) and how my GP regularly misses my vein at blood draws ... Would appreciate recommendations of Eisenzentren, hospitals or doctor's offices in Zurich. Thank you so much.
