Is being weird and 'alternative' asking for trouble?

Post no. 6 , you mean?

[QUOTE=Crystaljuggler;547734]To be fair, the general tone of what I've been reading on here has been that the Swiss people are all unpleasant when you're discussing your own experiences amongst yourselves, and the most wonderful people in the world when someone else is asking about them. Clarification was needed.

Just as some people would generalise about a person being South African, there are some who would generalise about the Swiss. I have encountered many Swiss who have really gone out of their way to be helpful and pleasant to me (and not just for money or to get a date). You will read unpleasant things here, because as a forum, this is where people go to vent things, and nationality is the easiest thing to pin point and pick on when one is feeling pee'd off in the heat of the moment. Anyhow, i can assure you, your fire throwing and juggling will be most appreciated here by all. Especially at New Years and August 1st when the parties are going on in the parks. And there are plenty of cycle lanes if you get busted and the police tell you to get off the pavement : ) ENJOY. When i hear people generalising about other "types" or "nationalities" of people, I generally take it as a good sign to stop reading or listening to them and move on. Oh & BTW - there is a music shop which Goth music in Stampfenbachstrasse Zurich (called "Knochen...something"). Knochen = bones.

just come! if anything, we need more people like you!

I think this, my friend, will get you into more trouble than anything else you've listed. It might even be against the rules at the place you rent.

in my opinion if you want to paint your door black, go for it (let me know where you got the spider door knocker from!)

like yourself im gothic, a tame one by most standards, but it a personal life syle choice.

anywhere you go you will always find someone who dosen't agree, be proud of who you are and hold your head.

sticks and stones and all that

He's long gone

I recall him signing off with 'over and out' clearly not a mariner type of goth as he would have known just to say 'out'

I wonder if he ever did make it here... made for a great thread anyways
