One of my ex-colleagues is currently holding a Canadian Passport and trying to move to CH. Am I correct that intra company transfer will be easier for him in comparison to undergo a local hiring process? This is because I guess local hiring always undergoes the Swiss Labor Market verification which is not carried out during intra company transfer.
Anyone who has similar experience kindly share your thoughts,

All transfers are subject to EU/EEA/CH labor market conditions, including visa quotas. An internal transfer means the company is willing to support your application for a permit and offer support financially and otherwise if the permit application is successful.
Like everyone else, companies don’t want to spend money on lost causes either. So your friend needs to have something significant to the table to motivate them to do so - technical knowledge, managerial experience, product knowledge etc.

Got it Jim, thanks. He works as a technical architect in Salesforce, Canada. However, from the link I see that in case of intra company transfer labor market testing can be waived off in case if the candidate is a positioned as an executive / senior manager / person with niche skill(s).
