Once I removed a tick from a person who was just walking on the forest trails and had boots and trousers sprayed with the tick spray.
What ended up happening? I was recently in Switzerland and got bit by a tick. It left a similar mark, but I showed no signs of lyme? However, I just got back to the states and did a blood test to see if I contracted lyme disease. I am waiting on the results
If people in Switzerland had a blood test after every tick bite, our medical laboratories would have been occupied for 100% just with these tests.

A few friends (doctors) suggested it was something else. He did see doctor who wavered and suggested anti-biotics.
I thought that was a bit extreme so just kept an eye on him for a few days and he seemed OK, so didn’t give him the anti-biotics in the end.
