Here is a possible solution for finding a companion bird. This is a new service, in addition to the new service where they offer birds a place while owners are on holiday. Previously the only service they offered was taking in birds the owner could no longer keep.

Basically you bring your bird (subject to a heath check and agreement) and the bird chooses their own partner. It can take 2 months, and after 2 months it can be extended. The bird must have a ring or a microchip,
I can only imagine what our cockatoo would choose.

We now have three rabbits, a Ticinese (the biggest), an Ariete (floppy eared thing), and some kind of african-american variety (sorry, can't say BLACK here) from England that some guy in Riva has lots of breeding medals for.
