I've just logged in to check on .fr and in the English book section, there are 881 165 books listed. Is that much less than on .com?
Does anyone have newer experience with moving a kindle touch from the US to Switzerland ? We will have no issue with a US credit card, but I was wondering if there might be any problems in case I decide to switch to the German Amazon.
I bought my mother a Kindle in the US to take to Switzerland. We registered it on amazon.de with her Swiss info and we still couldn't download most German books. Amazon.de said that copyright in Germany is much more restricted and most German books are not copyrighted for the US. Once she was in Switzerland it worked fine.
