*Yawn* no news, see post no 7. Why did you think I stocked up on them? Would have been heart breaking to lose them again so soon.

Psst. It's not possible to make more than 100% profit...

You should "find" a bit of plastic and sue.

You have just ruined my plan...my last option to make some money

Because you have a very questionable taste when it comes to your choice of chocolate bars perhaps?

It's not? Not even when I sell it for more than 3 times than what I paid? That's more than 100%?

Well the terms and conditions will state I can not be held responsible for any strange, err, objects to be found.

That'd be about 67% profit - still not bad.

Run a competition - "Only a few lucky winners can get a charming piece of plastic."

P.S. Dark mint KitKats were the best. Why don't Europeans seem to like mint chocolate?

It is not plastic ok?? It is Nestle's way to celebrate „Heilige Drei Könige“ all year long! So...you found the king?

Or the Wasabi cream ones... but they just sell them in Japan.

This is clearly an unusual and pedantic[1] definition of 'profit'. The more usual usage, and definition, is simply 'the difference between the amount earned and the amount spent...' which would be an absolute values. To express this absolute value as a percentage of the final amount earned, as you're doing, is not unreasonable, but runs counter to most normal usage.

To be absolutely clear, of course, one would simply state what you're quoting it as a percentage of , but IME it's absolutely normal to say one made 100% or more profit over the original cost, and it's what most people would understand by percentage profit if not explicitly qualified, whereas it's relatively unusual to use your definition, so I put it to you that it's you who'd need to be clear if using it, as otherwise most people would assume the other meaning.

[1] Not that this is a bad thing per se, you understand

Mint must be something specifically British. No-one else really likes it. Even Obelix complained, when he was in Britain, that they drowned the poor boars in mint sauce....

With the wasabi hype going on at the moment, would not in the least surprise me.

Thank you for sorting that out.

FTFY. That would be about a 200% profit, based on cost.

So I read this thread about an hour ago.

Loved Kit Kat, always have. Never heard of Peanut Butter.

So I leave work and go on a rampage to find out where can I get my hands on this chocolate bar. I have never been so worked up by people I barely know, let alone over a forum. I still went with the flow.

I work near to Bern train station, so I checked 4 different kiosk's, they were different size too, so my logic said the bigger might have a higher chance of this flavor. But no. I even checked a private kioskish outlet called Apero and another 1, but no luck. They just have the usual chunky with the usual flavours. Even checked all the Migros and Coop at the train station. No Luck !!!

Can any1 kindly tell me if any1 got it in Bern area and where can I get it. Bitte Schone !!!!

Try a coop gas station.

I love chunky kitkats and I love peanut butter, but together???

I'm on a mission to find Cadbury Creme Eggs. Anyone?

Have you ever had a snickers? That's peanuts in chocolate. Tastes great, doesn't it?

Unfortunately I can't help you with the Cadbury egg, haven't seen any.

I have read on bbe.co.uk that Nestle has a recall on this and several other KIt Kat chunky products for plastic contamination

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21913847

I believe some of the ones on sale in Switzerland are affected

quote :The affected products are predominantly sold in the UK, with small amounts also sold in Germany, Switzerland, Malta, Austria, Singapore, the Philippines and Canada

Why do people keep telling me that? I already wrote that in post 4 and 7. That's why I went to the train station and bought all they had before they take them off the shelves.

I have had a Snickers (I can remember when they were called Marathon ), and yes they are ok, but I'm not a fan. Sorry, but all the more for you MacG's D!
