Laid off on B Permit, how long can I stay?

I have a reason to believe I might be laid off in coming weeks. I have a non EU, open ended B permit, which is due to be renewed in ~10 months.

Once laid off, do I have to pack up and leave within 30 days, or get an extension for up to 6 months, or can I stay until my permit is good?

I have enough resources to support myself and family for a long time, and since I've been working here non stop for > 3 years, I believe I'm eligible for unemployment insurance as well.

Thanks

Have a look here and good luck:

Thanks for the link. This site does not say if its allowed to stay as long as B permit is valid. Do you know about this?

There’s also arbeit.swiss

Only cases I’ve heard where people holding a B permit have problems is the grey area of “formation with employment” which applies to PhD and post-docs in universities.
