Leaving Switzerland - 2nd pillar cash-out

Hello EF,

I'm potentially leaving Switzerland permanently for EU or Non-EU country and I'm considering what are my options in regards to 2nd pillar cash-out. I was informed by my pension fund that I can get it cashed-out in full if leave to Non-EU country and can get it cashed out partially, if I move to EU country.

However, my pension fund wasn't able to consult me, how cashing-out 2nd pillar -whether partially or in full-, affects the amount of old-age pension and the amount of years of work.

So my question would be, if I cash-out 2nd pillar partially or in full, how will this affect my old-age pension?

When leaving Switzerland, can I cash-out 2nd pillar in full, if I move to England? I am an EU-passport holder.
