I believe Liechtenstein banks are in SIC, so it should be free, but not 100% sure. thanks for any input!
Hi all, can anyone confirm that sending CHF to a Liechtenstein IBAN (starts LI....) is treated the same as a 'normal' domestic Swiss CH IBAN.
I think it all depends if there is an intermediary bank in the transfer chain. If not, its free, otherwise small fee.
At least this is how it works between GB and CH.
GB IBANS use SWIFT, so yeah there's always a fee even with CHF to CHF. With SIC, no intermediary needed
Not really, fee is not always there. E.g. any CHF transfer to account at same Revolut's intermediate bank is fee free.
