The Thai cook there now used to cook in another Thai
restaurant in Baar. I am VERY VERY happy that she
is there now!!

They're open every day till 10pm.
Argus is right.
I was there yesterday, and it is pretty good!
They also have some Thai dishes, but I have not tried them yet.
is not good at all. She is not even Thai.
I would really recommend Sala of Tokyo for Japanese food.
It's a bit pricy though.
I haven't seen it mentioned, but my Chinese wife and I found this outstanding Chinese restaurant in Lausanne: Chez Xu.
It is a less than 5 minute walk north (uphill) from the train station.
Since we finally bought the GA cards we are tempted to take a day trip just for the food. Haven't found any Chinese restaurant that compares in quality and reasonable price (15 to 20 CHF a dish) in Switzerland. For our visit, most of the customers were Chinese which tends to be a good sign!
real Japanese restaurant is Sala of Tokyo near the main station in Zürich..and here in Zug, Chada Thai next to the Coop at Baarerstreet is a good one..in Lucerne is the Sushi Restaurant Kaiten, check out the webpage ..kaiten.ch
Kind regards
The best Thai in Zurich.
After eating there, I finally decided that I can indeed survive living in Zurich.
I was craving for decent asian food, but couldn't find any until Ah Hua.
Edit: try their lemon grass fish.
As I grew up in Southeast Asia, I find their food to be decent (not excellent).
But, compared to the other asian restaurants that I've tried, they are on top.
If you are craving for some Indonesian food, this is also a decent place
(ask for less salt, as they tend to use too much)
Very expensive and not good at all.
If you have eaten dim sum in good restaurants in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan or Singapore, the dim sum at Zen can not be even called that.
I went there once as it was recommended before on this forum and that was the last.
(Sorry, for the rant. I spent CHF150 for 3 persons and it was terrible.)
Been there twice. Loved the macha ice-cream with adzuki beans, too.
(The location is the former Yummy Restaurant.)
Definitely try Beyond for nice any spicy Chinese:

For Japanese, I am told that it is the best Japanese in town:
I was recommended also http://www.samurai7.ch/ for a japanese classmate.
So it seems that it is a good idea in Zurich.

I think the food there is really good and authentic enough for me (I was recently in Thailand so the memory is still fresh) though since you're Thai you will be a better judge.
