Looking for Claudia from Switzerland

Or try www.local.ch

Tom

if it helps, I met someone in my travels once. only got her first name and a few other details like you had (eg how long they stayed etc).

I just wanted to pass her some photos.

I ended up finding her travel blog.

So it may be possible that she kept a travel blog. perhaps that will get you on her trail...

Maybe MannImBett scared her into hiding? She seems as if she'd fit into his "target demographic"

Good news .....

I was up early this morning, and from the mountains, I heard yodelling ..... but it didn't sound like normal Swiss yodelling.

By the time it had echoed from mountain to mountain and round and down the valleys, I could just about make it out .......

...... Claudia ......... Claudia ........ Claudia ......... Claudia

So your plea is reaching far and wide - even to the grissled mountain folk.

Is this her?

Oh, wait, this one's from Germany...but what's the difference, right?

Are you sure she wasn't from Swaziland ?

Or Sweden?

Tom

Ahhhh......

Good luck, though in all honesty I don't hold out much hope you'll find her! Still, better to have loved and lost...

Blick am Abend has a lonely heart section. Maybe 20 Minuten has one too. Or you may place a front page add in one or even both Newspaper. Be creative and you will find her.

Miamimike....you are better off if you do not see her again. The Swiss girl you saw on vacation is very different than the Swiss girl you will meet in Switzerland. Once back in familiar surroundings, Swiss who return from vacation are a rather nasty, cold bunch.

Give the guy a break, he was only naively trying to find someone. It's sweet. Were you not young once?

No, but she did give a meeting spot marked with an X.

Hey Mike, judge yourself lucky you missed the rendezvous,

The Swiss girls are seriously not advisable for you,

Go get an 'merican girl and foggetaboutit

Yeah, getting a divorce from a Swiss girl is an expensive endeavor; if it had "worked" out.

Yes we were all young and all did foolish things for love (lust?). However, we didn't have the power of the internet to hide our shame.

Actually, one idea would be, to use the name Claudia, and look thru available pictures on Facebook with that name (Claudia, Switzerland). Yes I know that might take hours to do, and she might not even have a FB account.

I guess the more likely and better alternative is to go to a non Swiss forum, and ask english speakers if they know a Claudia in a country where they are more likely to know someone named Paddy or Mike.

The Swiss White Pages feedback lists 17839 results for "Claudia". Seems to be a popular name for hairdressers.

If you dial about 20 per hour, you might be lucky before you die of old age or develop sores on your dialing finger.

If you have computer skills, you could write a script to do the dialing for you...

This is not such a crazy question. I was in Savannah, GA, and this lady asked me (once she discovered I live in Switzerland) if I know the prince of Austria.

Given the fact that Austria is a republic, I'm wondering just how old she might be.

I'm sure she may have voted Romney this week. If she is still with us. Or it.

Get an alphorn, dawn traditional clothing like the picture below, go on top of the Jungfrau, play a tune on the alphorn and cry out "Claudia" and she will come running.
