Looking for fabric (and other stuff) for Ukrainian refugees in Basel

I am helping some refugees who are making masking nets for the Ukrainian army, we cut fabric in strips which they then fix to the net base and when ready, they transport them with other help directly to the front in Ukraine.

What is needed is ideally a cotton or other fabric which is easy to cut so for example old bed covers, bedsheets, tablecloths,

(old clothes are also ok but obviously there is more leftovers as it is not possible to cut the strips so easily). For masking purposes the best colours now are green, dark green, olive, brown and light brown, khaki etc.

(although if the fabric is cotton, I have also successfully dyed some old sheets from other lighter colours).

Please let me know if anyone has any idea how to get more fabric on a larger scale (e.g. ask hotels or restaurants if they have any old bedsheets/tablecloths?).

Also please pm me if you have anything I could use.

They are also looking for stuff the soldiers desperately need at the front e.g. sleeping bags, mats, folding lightweight beds or sunloungers for sleeping, walking shoes in men sizes, and medical supplies.

Thank you everyone in case you could give me some ideas, or spare some things.

Most hotels, restauraunts, hospitals etc don’t own their own bedsheets or table cloths but rather rent them from a large scale laundry place.

I would ask there if the have old or damaged cloths you could have. One of the largest in Switzerland is Bardusch:
