I am looking for an English speaking, decently priced car mechanic services in Bern. The repairs include changing the fuel, air and oil filters, and putting on winter wheels. All materials I have bought myself so it only requires to raise the car and installing new parts.
I tried this in a few garages around my area and they all were quite reluctant to to it as they don't get the % on parts.
Your best bet would be to find a "do it yourself" garage in your area and ask one of the "in house" mechanic to carry out the work. Normally the mechanics charge anywhere between 75 - 120 chfs an hour. The garage charges 25 - 30 chf/hr. Your work should take max 1 hr.
