My OH has been talking about when he and his family were taken to meet him at his home in 1971 by a close family friend, Kyriakos Maravelias, who co-founded Lyra Records, which Theodorakis was signed to back in the day.
I know; they are both gone. I like him better, for some reason.

Sorry for the flippant response. He and Manos were contemporaneous icons of an era now gone. I listened to the Vespers as a gentle goodbye to that time.
