Minimum Housing Requirement- Geneva

Hi all,

I am planning to bring my spouse to Geneva under family reunification and in need of moving out of my studio to a more sizable yet affordable apartment. I would like to know what the minimum cantonal housing requirement in Geneva. Ex: 2 pieces/ 1.5 rooms/1 bed room etc.

If it’s just your spouse I would guess either a 2 (living room/bedroom) or 2.5 (living/dining room and bedroom) would be fine.

In GE the Kitchen is a room, so add 1 to the above numbers.

Studio will be fine and think "bunk beds"
