I used HitRental when I first moved here (in the Erlenmatt quarter of Basel, a great area!), and they were excellent to deal with.
I actually used them via AirBnB before I realised they were their own commercial entity - I think the prices are a bit cheaper if you go directly through HitRental.

To be honest, never used them nor do i know them, but since i used to pass by almost every day by them i happened to notice the building
I just looked at https://visionapartments.com/ and they seem to also provide apartments in Basel.
I used them when I moved to Switzerland last October, they provided weekly cleaning service, and were flexible with extensions (they provided extension on short notice to the same apartment that was paid for two months initially by my company as I did not find a suitable permanent place in 2 months).
I used the one in Zurich Kreis 3, and they were good, small but good, not sure about the ones in Basel.

I do not recommend the one at Heuwaage / Steinentorstrasse if you want to sleep.
