I often travel to Italy by train from Zurich. I work in between Zug and Zurich, and with the summer approaching I thought, why not using my motorcycle to go directly to the Zug train station instead of: "going home to park the bike, take the OV to go to Zurich HB and take the train from there".
Is there any place nearby the Zug train station where I could park my motorcycle (it's actually a three-wheeler) on the Friday evening, possibly a bit sheltered from bad weather, and find it again without a fine, on Monday morning?

As a 3 wheeler, you can be far less cheeky when parking. How big of a 3 wheeler? Would you fit in a normal motorbike space?
Edit - Are we talking about a tricity? Or another abomination like a Spyder (not a motorbike)
It's a piaggio Mp3, and yes a bit bigger one but sure it fits in the motorcycle spaces.
There’s motorcycle parking on the backside of the station. Take a look at the streetview.

oh great! and it's also sheltered! I see the Zentrale Parkuhr sign starts a bit after the motorcycle spots, which makes me think that although there are yellow marks, the parking is free. Correct?
Does anyone know how easy it is to find a spot there?
So an update here for whoever might benefit from this.
I did this a few times already and it seems to work.
In the spot suggested in the post above, there are several bike parking places which are sheltered from the weather. Mostly I found that at least some 3-4 spots are free at any given time, however last week it was all full and I (like many others already) have parked outside the marked yellow lines following the flow. I left the bike for 4 days (weekend) and found it without a fine or any sign that it disturbed anyone.
So the answer to my original topic is that it is possible to park the bike in a sheltered place at the Zug train station.
