Moving back to Switzerland from UK - 1month remote work in UK

Hi all

I'm trying to figure out how to handle our situation best.

We're currently living in the UK (I'm Swiss), I've accepted a Job in Switzerland, startdate mid May.

We will however actually move by mid June. The month in between I'll be working remotely. I assume I need to sign up with the Gemeinde to receive a new AHV number and sign up for health insurance in mid may, or is there a way to work remotely without it and handle all of that when we physically move in mid June?

Does anyone have experiences with a similar situation?

You have 3 months to get health insurance from the time you arrive in Switzerland

Why would you need to have a new AHV number? I always thought you had that for life?

So did I, but upon reaching out to ZAS it sounds like they'll assign a new number upon return. Slightly strange IMO. Thing is, I need that in place to get paid for the one month we're not yet living in Switzerland.
