We recently moved from Zurich - Balgrist to Kloten with Alfa Transporte ( http://www.alfa-transporte.ch/e_home.html ). Apartment was a 1.5 room-apartment. Moving crew was comprised of 2 guys and a truck. Very fast and efficient. Considering both apartments were on the 2nd floor and there was no lift, the 460 CHF paid was very cheap. Recommended
Just wanted to share some positive feedback for cleaners and moving firm Total Reinigung / Total Transport (they're the same people). I saw their details on another positive review on this site.
We used them to clean our apartment in Baden (3.5 room) last month following a sublet and also to move our furniture house in Zurich (we moved from a temporary apartment to a new one). They're returning next week to clean the Zurich flat.
Price was competitive and more importantly they were reliable and did a great job. They also give a handover guarantee for cleaning.
Baden cleaning price was CHF800.
Zurich cleaning (4room) and moving was 1458 incl. VAT. This price was quite a bit better than other quotes we got through movu. To be fair we didn't have tonnes of stuff but we did have a huge sofa (which they shifted up 4 floors), arm chairs, massive wardrobe (which they dismantled and rebuilt) and some other furniture, plus probably 10-15 boxes of stuff.
Contact details attached. I found communication easiest via email, with a guy called Jan who spoke English. Over the telephone was a bit hit and miss as I guess they're generally out and about in jobs, which is fair enough.

Is it also possible to organize everything in EN or better German?
They came and had a look at the amount of stuff/size of the apartment and then gave a written quote based on that. It will also depend on what you want them to do I.e whether you will box and unbox everything yourself.
The guys that did the moving (and gave the quote) spoke German (and Portuguese) but the email correspondence for organising everything was in English.
Few days ago we used Total Umzug and Total Reinigung for moving and cleaning service and I can strongly recommend their services.
Fast, accurate, punctual, very helpful and also with a good sense of humor Contacts/numbers have already been shared before.
We just did our moving and cleaning with Total Umzug, we have a 60 sqm 2 room apartment, cleaning is around 800. Moving with disassemble and assemble huge IKEA Pax, book shelfs and bed etc. cost around 1200. Since we did not have too much garbage, they took them away for free. Totally recommended, fast, quiet and polite.
I very seldom post but I have to do it since the English Forum threads helped me with an impossible task to move within a month from a 3.5 room apartment to a 5.5 room apartment 100mt apart.
I sent an email at 7am on Monday to Total Reinigung/Total Umzug and within 2 hours I had the provisional quote from Jan. Other moving/cleaning companies took two weeks to reply. Mr. Martins cane to see the apartment and confirmed the price although I had antiques, corner wardrobes that has to be dismantled and reinstalled in the new apartment. Finally I had three plants that were around 100kg each.
I saw Mr. Martins the day before to check the route came the day before the move to check the best was to handle - was a good first impression.
7:30 am on moving day four men and Mr. Martin came to help with the move and most of the items where carried in trolleys or by hand to avoid risk of breakage
All was handled extremely professionally and efficiently. The following day Mr. Martins and two helpers came to clean the old apartment and we passed the inspection no problem.
I would highly recommend this firm.
