Do you bleach your swim suit as well..?
seriously all this talk of hygeine and bleaching is seriously putting me off ever entering a sauna again, I am sure all that sweat can seep through a towel and onto the seats too?
However, I completely understand not wanting to sit stark naked in a public sauna, I'm the same - therefore a big towel to wrap yourself in is very useful
Where I come from mixed saunas are usually the private ones not in public places such as gyms or public baths - and most saunas have restrictions for swimwear.
And I'm with Tilia on that it is something you do in combination with showers/bathing for cleansing and to some extent to get warm again after too long time in the pool or in the ski tracks.
Socialize with clients and/or colleagues in the sauna - Never, I'd rather do that elsewhere....
try any dancing party during the summer, all windows closed ( so the noise doesn't go out ) and minimal ventilation.
About the same.
The knee jerk reaction, perhaps, Sada? (My family doctor uses a little hammer on my knees to see if I'm still alive.)
Time flies when the flies are undone?
embarrasing would it be if you did not have a visible reaction
It would be no problem as long the eye do not wander, but mine obviously do (did).
I think it would be better if there were old 'crusty' people about especially for the first few tries, as I would be concerned something.. well.. you know.. (dont want to sound crude)
Oh, go on! No need to be shy. But be sure to come back and tell us all about it.
She asked me "Will everyone be naked?"
I said "Yeah, definitely, it's Switzerland"
She said "OK, I'll go on the Woman's only day".
Well...in due course, she found herself in the Jacuzzi on her own completely naked...when she was joined by other women - all wearing swimming costumes.
She was getting funny looks - and got out as discretely and rapidly as possible.
I had to laugh when she told me!
What ever happened to well-being?
