Hello All
Just wanted to follow-up on this thread to let you know that I had my appointment with Barry at Hair Design by Barry in Basel yesterday.
I am very happy to report that I love it! We started with a short consult to understand what I was looking for and then he went to work. He used a lightener and two colors and I am really pleased with the results! My look is natural and full of texture. If you are blonde and looking for a good colorist I would really recommend him!
Regarding my cut, that also looks fabulous and frames my face just the way I wanted it.
I took the train to Basel and just grabbed the tram. His shop is quite central and easy to find. I will definitely be heading back and maybe next time bring a few girlfriends or my hubbie and make a day of it.

I had a really good colorist work on my long brunette hair about 3 years ago and that was in Dubai, since then I am reluctant to try someone new as there is few colorists out there who understand how to chose the right sort of blond highlights and lowlights to go with asian and indian skin tones.
I am due to make a visit to Dubai in a months time and just want to know if its worth it me making a visit to this salon everyone is raving about in Basel. Incidently, could you also say what it cost you (the cut and color)?
It is SO worth it! I am back for more colour in the next few weeks. Barry is magic with colour and the products he uses are new to me and some of the best I'ver ever had put in my hair. Good Luck!

I went to Zelo for highlights in my darkbrown hair. The male person (I won't call names) did a terrible job, white in the lower layers and orange on top.
