Why don't you try CLER's ZAK offer and provide feedback here? I think they have e-bills included already.
TBH I wouldn't even insist on e-bills, if all invoices could be received by normal eMail; not that I'm a SERAFE fan, but at least their billing strategy is fantastic (.pdf directly into inbox).
But still, this e-bill just seems to be the Swiss standard, so that's that.
Apart from that, I can't describe how happily I'll trash Postfinance's bloody card reader.
Some post offices with a separate 'post shop' counter do accept credit cards at that counter. You can pay for stamps, phone credit, lottery and post-shop products like books and stationery at that counter using a credit card.
the first two withdrawals a month are free. after that it's 2chf per withdrawal but I've withdrawn cash twice in the past 6 months so it depends on your usage if it's something you'll rack up in fees or not.
No, you only get a CHF account. To send to a EUR account, it would be converted first at their "attractive rate" but I always use Revolut for conversions to be honest.
For conversions, I've tried them all, Revolut, CurrencyFair and Transferwise. With Revolut you get better exchange rates and no fees (up to £5k, unless you pay for a monthly premium). However, I top up with Transferwise as normally the amount appears in the account the sameday, and then pay into Revolut with the Transferwise card. Bank transferring to Revolut takes a couple of days.
Let me know if you want a referral code for any of them
Thanks for the answer! I already have a Transferwise account, but if I need Revolut in the future I'll ask for a referral code (I chose Transferwise for now as I read that with Revolut CHF transfers to a swiss bank account fees can be added by the receiving bank because Revolut transfers from a UK based CHF account.
The current daily transaction limit is 24'000 CHF and 10'000 CHF per single transaction. With your card, you can withdraw up to 1'000 CHF cash per day, spend 5'000 CHF online and another 5'000 CHF in stores every day but your monthly max limit is 10'000 CHF.
