I have just heard from a friend that tax rates in canton Zug have recently been increased. I cannot find any news about this online.

Kanton % should go back to 82 in 2024 (it was lowered for covid) and some additional deductions that were introduced for the same period should expire.
Not for Zug in particular but I had read that SNB distributes its income to cantons. This year they had a loss and some cantons had significant loss of income. So the claim was that some will have to raise taxes but never found out which ones and when the decision will be.

Essentially, Zug, Ireland, nor the Netherlands can remain little tax havens for corporations anymore. Sorry Britan - too late. However, time will tell how they find ways to tilt the odds in their favor.
