I fully understand what the thing looks like. And I happen to practice boxing. (Well, kickboxing, but that makes in this case no difference): It makes a whole lot of difference if I can see an opponents neck and ear in order to measure a punch. If I have no idea whether I will hit the head or only the hair does make a difference. Before would I have argued that wearing the thing will surely be a burden, so its not unfair, but to claim that it doesn't have an impact is wrong. I remember watching a womens Silat fight in South East Asia where about half the fighters wear tudungs. I felt sorry for them in the heat... but in a pro fight do I think this will be more of an advantage.
