Normal naturalization - post application timelines

Hi all,

Is it possible to get canton wise data for average / usual time taken for the normal naturalization process from initial application to getting the little red book? I mean I’ve heard of people from Geneva say one year, and Vaud two years, Fribourg four years and so on, but this is all anecdotal. Is there a real comparison - even if non-official?

I don't know if these data are public, but this is what my canton, BS, says about its own process: Unproblematic applications take about 17 months.

I ahve seen this thread - its more about procedure, requirements etc. I am looking for a cantonal comparison of timelines between application and becoming Swiss.

17 months in Basel F. ex as liquidpaper says..

Consider that with Covid some Cantons got slower than before e.g. Vaud (Geneva I know became slower in issuing Permits C but I don't know on Naturalisation)
