How long does it take to arrive? I think it is sent from China, isn't it?

I ordered my 1+1 phone last Tuesday when they had the open sale, now I can see from the tracking code that my phone was shipped from UK.

They don't ship to Switzerland though, but you can let them deliver to one of these post boxes in Germany. I use this one http://atp-paket-jestetten.jimdo.com/

Hi guys, I am thinking of buying a one+one and to let it be sent to another country, because a friend of mine could bring it soon when she comes visiting me...

The question is: could my friend have a problem with the customs with a brand new smartphone in the hand bagagge??? should it be declared?

The need to declare it or not, as the case may be, would be the least of her (and ultimately your) problems if she's flying out of the UK with it for you.

The invite system seems a bit redundant now that they sell it every Tuesday openly.

Hi,

My phone is dying and I was looking for a new one. The oneplus two will be released either already this quarter or in Q3 2015!

I don't have a oneplus one. I guess the first invites go out to the oneplus one owners.. If anyone gets an invite for the two and wants to share, I'd be very happy to use it :-)

OnePlus is using the invitations again with OnePlus 2. Would really like to buy the new phone, but no idea how I am going to get my hands on one of those precious invites

When I did this, earlier in the year, I got emailed a couple of invites, within the first couple of weeks.

However, it probably wont be the same with the new model - but it can't hurt (if you haven't done it already).

When Apple sell-out a new iPhone everyone accuses them of cynically manipulating the market to create demand, and yet nobody seems to have made the same link to OnePlus which is far more cynical and obvious IMHO.

If they are making the best smartphone for the best price then let market forces decide. There is no shortage of manufacturing capacity in China, they could take pre-orders and ship as normal. This is a really crappy business model which seems to send many geeks into a 'want frenzy' where getting an invite (to spend money) is akin to finding a golden Willy Wonka ticket.

Na. There has been plenty of criticism of the OnePlus model of selling via invite.

Like I've said many times. The phone is good and a great price. The company is fricking awful though.
